No HHA training class is needed—just fill out an application! After going through our virtual interviewing and onboarding process, you can start providing in-home care.

Westchester Family Care (WFC) offers an in-person course in Mamaroneck, New York, to expand your options as a caregiver. After the completion of this course, you will have the ability to work for a licensed home care agency like WFC.

Full NY HHA Training

Becoming a fully certified HHA gives you the flexibility to work for or through a licensed home care agency, such as WFC. If you have experience as a caregiver and are interested in providing home care, becoming certified prepares you for opportunities in an expanding field.

Add HHA to CNA

Adding an HHA certification to your CNA increases your options for providing care. You can continue to work for hospitals and nursing homes or choose to work for a licensed home care agency. If you prefer creating a one-on-one connection with a client in a home setting, adding an HHA certification can allow you to transition to a home care environment.

Restore Lapsed HHA

If you have been working in private care or took time off, you can restore your lapsed HHA certification. Everyone's situation is different, and restoring your certification can allow you a wider variety of opportunities working for a licensed home care agency, such as WFC.

Yes! We offer full-time, part-time, live-in, and hourly schedules. We offer you the opportunity to work in the hours that best meet your need. Our clients require assistance day and night, including weekends and holidays, so there are a lot of openings available.
Yes. We are proud to be 100% vaccinated for COVID-19 to protect our clients, coworkers, and families. We are handling any concerns to keep our community safe.
Yes. We match 50% of your contribution up to 6% total.
Our caregivers can help their clients by providing transportation. We pay mileage for when caregivers drive their clients to appointments and social outings. At this time, we do not reimburse you for commuting to the client’s home.
