Westchester Family Care is grateful to be celebrating our fourth anniversary since opening our doors in October 2015. We want to especially thank our outstanding client families as well as our diligent caregivers, nurses and office staff.
There are several milestones that illustrate the progress we are proud to have made during the past four years.
First and foremost, WFC has been selected as the recipient of the 2019 Best of Home Care® Leader in Excellence Award in addition to the Provider and Employer of Choice Awards. This places us among the top 5% of home care service providers nationwide and makes us only 1 of 2 home care agencies in New York to receive this award!
We’ve experienced steady growth, affording us a significant increase in both the volume of client care time as well as the ability to broaden WFC’s brand of compassionate caregiving to client families. We are continually expanding our team to meet the needs of our growing client base.
This has allowed us to manage staff growth selectively and bolster functionality. Moreover, we have not only increased our workforce, we’ve added significant depth of talent to our professional office staff. We pride ourselves on offering excellent benefits, flexible schedules, full-time or part-time, fulfilling work, and a nurturing environment.
WFC believes that excellence begins at home, and we make a significant investment in our training programs. We operate a separate HHA Training facility in Katonah, NY and we provide continuing education classes in our Mamaroneck, NY main office. Together, these act as WFC’s hub for standardized instructional protocols for our staff and caregivers.
As proud as we are to be working with the caring and compassionate caregivers who have joined our growing workforce, we are also grateful to partner with leading outside service professionals. We reach out to specialists to enrich client-centric services that go beyond our essential offerings, in keeping with our core value to improve the lives of our employees and the people in our care. Over the years, we have built relationships with industry experts and businesses who assist in training and coaching our staff as well as our client families.
