Thank You for Voting Us As One of the Best Home Care Agencies in New York!

2019 Best of Home Care Awards

With great thanks to families like yours and our passionate, hardworking caregivers and nurses, Westchester Family Care has been selected as the recipient of the 2019 Best of Home Care® Leader in Excellence Award in addition to the Provider and Employer of Choice Awards.

This places us among the top 5% of home care service providers nationwide, and makes us only 1 of 2 home care agencies in New York to receive this award! (See the press release here)

Being selected for the awards means so much more than just meeting the requirements. It means staying involved in the local communities of Westchester County, keeping our staff up-to-date with training and certifications, and caring for each client individually.

We are honored to be recognized as a top home care agency as both a provider and employer, and we look forward to continuing our mission of providing the highest quality senior care in the country to locals in Westchester County, NY.

If you or a loved one is in need of home care services, we are here for you!

What makes Westchester Family Care one of the best providers of home care services?

We treat our clients like family

Your story IS our story! Westchester Family Care was founded as a result of founder, Glenn Lane’s journey with his family as they learned how to provide the best care and quality of life for their loved ones who had been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s.

Our Story Quote

(Read our full story here!)

Through sharing our story with others in the local community, we learned that many other families are dealing with not only Alzheimer’s but other illnesses and disabilities that require special care and compassion. Our goal became to provide that same level of care we expect for our loved ones, to all the families of Westchester County.

After three years in the home care industry, WFC has established itself as a Provider of Choice in New York — a recognition based on overall client satisfaction ratings.

Home Care Provider of Choice Quote

To qualify as a top provider, home care agencies are required to:

  • Be a Trusted Provider certified by Home Care Pulse
  • Have 10% of clients interviewed by Home Care Pulse each month
  • Outperform other home care agencies within the same geographic region

Every month Home Care Pulse surveys a number of our clients so we can get a better understanding of how well we are doing. WFC scored above and beyond the requirements in all categories (i.e., timeliness, friendliness, quality of care, etc.).

When you chose WFC, you can get peace of mind that your loved one is being cared for by compassionate people that understand what it’s like to be in your shoes.

We invest in our caregivers

We believe that to offer the best in home care, you need caregivers who are knowledgeable and passionate about what they do.

To ensure our care is nothing but exceptional, we provide our caregivers with great benefits, continued education, and free training for HHA certification at our dedicated HHA Training Center in Katonah, New York.

It’s no wonder our caregivers have voted us as a Best of Home Care Employer of Choice for 4 years running!

Home Care Employer of Choice Quote

Similar to the Provider of Choice award, 10% of our caregivers are surveyed each month by Home Care Pulse. This allows us to understand where we can do better not only for our clients but for our hardworking caregivers, too.

Caregiver satisfaction is based on:

  • Employment provided
  • Training received
  • Clarity of expectations
  • Openness to new ideas
  • Caregiver recognition
  • Office support provided
  • Client/Caregiver compatibility

We make a conscious effort to work closely with all of our caregivers, so they know what to expect and are always prepared for their assignments. All caregivers at Westchester Family Care are New York HHA certified, background checked, drug tested, and receive continuing education throughout their time working with us.

We lead the way in accessibility and quality of services provided

Placing the care of your loved on in someone else’s hands can be difficult, and we understand that. To give you peace of mind, we make sure that our caregivers are in constant communication with you and our registered nurse, and our office staff is always accessible to you 24/7 to answer any questions.

Our dedication to accessibility, responsiveness, and quality services has made us one of the most trusted home care providers in the country and a Leader in Excellence recognized by Home Care Pulse.

Home Care Leader in Excellence Quote

The Home Care Leader of Excellence award is one of the most prestigious recognitions a home care agency can achieve. Out of the thousands of agencies that applied, only two were selected in New York, Westchester Family Care being one of them. Recognized agencies must hold both the Employer of Choice and Provider of Choice recognitions as well as outperform other local agencies.

From our dedication to quality oversight and caregiver matching, to the thorough education and plan of care preparation we provide our staff, we always go the extra mile to make sure you get the best in home care services that your family deserves.
